Every year companies come out with products that are supposed to be the iPhone killer, the iPad killer and so one. Apple’s iPhone and iPad devices saw only a handful of serious competitions in 2012. Samsung gave Apple a little run with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 to compete with the iPhone 5 and the upcoming iPhone 5S/6.

iPhone 5 and iPad-mini Release Date Announced for Chinese Market
The largest market in the world is set to receive the iPhone 5 and iPad-mini. Apple has reportedly worked out a deal with the Chinese government to ship the iPhone 5 and iPad-mini to Chinese customers beginning December 7th in time for the holidays. Chinese customers will have to do with the WiFi versions only for now, according to the company’s release statement.

No matter how you look at things, the Kindle is much cheaper than the iPad Mini.
