For those of you who has no idea what a Retina Display is… it allows better and higher resolutions. There no leaks yet of the specs and features of the updated iPad-mini but rumors are flying that the display maker AUO which makes displays for all Apple products is working on a 2,048×1,536 pixel resolution display for the next iPad Mini.

The closest product to have a display of that sort is the Amazon Kindle Fire HD with a 8.9-inch display boasting 254 pixels per inch. Below is a picture of the Amazon Kindle Fire HD side-by-side with the Apple iPad-mini.
