Top iPhone 5 Tips & Tricks – Maps View

1. Get where your going with iPhone 5 Quick Route

To get turn-by-turn directions to your location instantly, when Maps drops a pin on a location; Simple tap the ‘Quick Route‘ button next to the location’s name

2. Switching to ‘FlyOver View’ with Maps

You can easily switch to Flyover view by tapping the 3D button. From there you can explore cities from the air as you zoom, pan, and rotate around landmarks.

3. Tilt and rotate map view with 2 fingers.

With your eyes on the Maps , simple use 2 fingers to tilt or rotate the map’s view. Don’t worry, maps will keep the names of the streets and places where they belong. So everything’s easy to read, and you won’t get lost.

4. Don’t loose your North-South Orientation

You could lose your North-South orientation if you rotate a location map a couple of times. However, it is not that hard to get it back to normal. Simply tap the compass icon from the upper-right corner and you’re back to the original view.
